There isn’t a better way to end the semester than with a field trip to Lucky Land. We had so much fun learning about the cultural history of China and playing around with the kids here. We were so proud when our students went up to the panda area and started to call them Xiong mao (panda). To top it off we went to the face masks and they started to name all the colors of the masks in Chinese! We are truly so amazed by how quick these kids have picked up Chinese and how much they have retained as well! It was a bittersweet moment to say goodbye to these amazing students, however we are glad that we will be seeing them next semester and continue to challenge our brains with some more classes on the Chinese language and culture!
